My Story

“I could never be a vocal coach”

I said to myself

The Beginnings

By then, I had struggled so much with my voice I was ready to give up.  I could sing, but my desire to be a recording artist, required me to utilize this so called “mix voice”. It was such a foreign concept to me. No matter what I tried, I had a break in my voice I just couldn’t fix.  After countless lessons with so many different coaches I still couldn’t grasp the concept of what I was doing wrong. Years past and I just began to believe this was how my voice was created to be.

The decision that changed my life

As my youngest child started to prepare for Kindergarten, I knew it was time to begin thinking about a career for myself. After being a stay at home mom for 10 years, I knew it was time for a change. Even though my desire to become an artist fell through, I still loved the music industry and wanted to be a part of it. My husband suggested I become a vocal coach, as that seemed like a great way to navigate motherhood and the industry simultaneously, but it just didn’t seem possible. I couldn’t sing effortlessly like so many others, but then I remembered Brett Manning…

He was the vocal coach to many celebrities here in Nashville. If anyone could fix my voice, it would be him; and he did. I knew without a shadow of a doubt his method had to be shared. As one of his trained associates, I’ve enjoyed working will all types of skill levels. If you’re a struggling artist who feels like you’ve been hitting a brick wall, my supportive and nurturing environment will be a breath of fresh air. I love helping you explore your creativity and developing your vocal skills in a safe, encouraging, space. I understand a career in the arts is such a challenge, so you’ll always find me committed in helping you overcome these challenges to achieve your dreams.

If you’re a professional singer who is looking to prolong your career, my vocal hacks and specialized therapy will be incredibly helpful.
